Hiatus

Two reasons for hiatus:
- Creating second blog.
- The deep pit of self criticism is getting deeper the more I try to crawl out of it.

Night Flight (korean movie)

Yes the picture shows it almost all :D I saw gay movie and it was awesome LOL You have practically anything a straight romance has :D But it is bitter, more than sweet...

Korean society is not really tolerant towards criminal's childrens or homosexuals... If you are one of those and hiding the fact, it is painful and you can't live your life as normally as anyone else... Worst happens if your secrets are revealed... Which happens here as well...

We have a story of two high school boys who used to be close friends in the past but drifted from each other. First (straight one) pushed anyone away from himself for being criminal's son, becoming a bully... And secondly there is the other one who secretly likes him, trying to get close again as they used to be... or even more hihi

My first favorite quote is:
Having crush on a straight is... like taking rat poison.
Why I like it? Because it perfectly says how much that hurts. Having a crush on someone in normal situation is tough but this is even sadder...

What I found most meaningful in the movie is this quote:
This world is over without a friend.
Meaning you can't live on your own, you have to have someone you can be yourself to, rely on, even if it is only a friend... The first boy luckily realizes that before it is almost too late...

The worst thing was their surroundings. One mother too selfcentered to notice her son's problems, other having too much on her shoulders after her husband was in jail... The teachers omg such hateful creatures... When a boy tells him his friend is being bullied he tells him to focus on grades. Like friendship is something unimportant, something that can ruin your future... Such bullshits seriously... The bully students... so detestable... The third friend of the two who was always sheltered by one of the two above but once he can pull himself from the shit he rather dumps his friend into it...

All in all, it's lovely movie and should see if you don't dislike homosexuality. Having an open heart is important! :D

Stop blabbering Anny... xDD You wouldn't be so eager to see it if Kwak Si Yang wasn't in it :D
