Hiatus

Two reasons for hiatus:
- Creating second blog.
- The deep pit of self criticism is getting deeper the more I try to crawl out of it.

Oh my Venus (korean drama)

Kang Joo-Eun (Shin Min-A) was a school beauty having all of the men under her feet. She had a great boyfriend and all seemed perfect. Years later she becomes a lawyer but there is no sign of her beauty left and her boyfriend whom she was with for 15 years breaks up with her.
Kim Young-Ho/John Kim (So Ji-Sub) had a terrible illness during his childhood which makes him believe that healthy lifestyle and excercise makes a person the most beautiful. He hides from his weathy family, scared of his father and pitties his grandmother. He psychologically still didn't fully recover from his childhood illness, battling it on his own. Now, he is a personal trainer in USA and due to a scandal with famous woman, he runs away back to South Korea. On the way there he stumbles uppon Kang Joo-Eun and later becomes her personal trainer.
It is a story how to treasure your body, knowing your limits, believing you can do it if you set your mind to it. That it is okay to go outside of your world as well. And of course the trainee-trainer relationship slowly develops as well :)

My rating:  (4/5)

"When you are long term patient at a hospital, you realize the fact that there are so many people in pain in this world. Because everyone is in pain, either a lot or a little, in their own way. So don't cry. Everyone lives on through enduring their own burdens."
(The quote made me think of my friend *hugs* )
